How do I upgrade to Platinum?
These instructions only apply if you want to upgrade your EXISTING classic registration to platinum. If you HAVE NOT registered for this year's Extra Life event, please return to the main site and select "Platinum" when registering.
- Log into your account at www.extra-life.org
- Go to the Extra Life 2022 Platinum Upgrade page
- Click the green button "Donate to This Campaign"
- Fill out the information and pay the one time $19 upgrade fee
- Wait up to 3-5 business days for our team to perform the upgrade
Can I still earn the platinum rewards after game day is over?
Platinum rewards are yours as long as you complete the following:
1) Are registered or upgrade your Extra Life page to Platinum status by December 31st
2) Have fundraised the necessary amounts and unlocked the rewards
3) Redeem the rewards by the cut-off date listed in each item's redemption email
Otherwise, don't sweat the official game day event! All support for Extra Life is celebrated year-round, and we always appreciate the hard work you do!
I upgraded, but still don't see it on my page. What gives?
Platinum upgrades can take 3-5 business days to be updated. If you see an excessively long delay on your upgrade, contact us and we dig into what the heck happened!
I accidentally upgraded to Platinum when I already was. What should I do?
Reach out to us with your name and email you used to register (and upgrade yourself), and we'll get it taken care of!
